From its beginning over ten years ago, all VADAR®Systems applications have been written in Microsoft Windows® Technology.
Each application is specifically written by VADAR®Systems developers to utilize the advantages of Windows® relational database platforms coupled with specially written code to maximize the speed and performance. This results in user screens that are easy to understand, learn, and use in an environment that successfully supports clients in a wide range of sizes.
Additionally, we have steadily moved forward to provide solutions for clients requiring remote site access. We already have “Terminal Services” solutions installed in the field addressing those remote access needs. Citrix is currently the preferred deployment solution; combining both the need to accommodate remote sites and to provide Server Based Computing. Many municipalities have stated a desire for browser based applications and the Citrix deployment has been proven to effectively meet those needs for several of our clients.
VADAR®Systems clients include small towns (i.e. The Town of Wales, MA with 1000 real estate parcels) to very large counties (i.e. The County of Cuyahoga, OH - including Cleveland, OH - and its 85 taxing districts with 500,000 real estate parcels). Cuyahoga County currently utilizes a VADAR®Systems Ohio Tax Lien Application to track more than 40,000 delinquent real estate parcels. Many of VADAR®Systems' clients run substantial VADAR®Systems database applications, which process and manage in excess of 500,000 to 750,000 total transaction records.
How Do You Develop Your Software?
The company began years ago with one application and one client. Since that day, every application has been designed with the input of our clients and prospects. The full line of over 40 applications across Tax, Accounting, and Utility departments are formally evaluated by our market and application specific ThinkTanks. This group - comprised with all interested users - meets at least once per year to prioritize enhancements that are delivered in semi-annual updates to all clients at no charge.
VADAR®Systems has successfully installed over 500 financial applications and supports over 1,000 users. Our 80+ clients range across 5 states.
